I attend a two year college and thinking about taking this class online but I need to know if it's too hard to take online or if it's just a hard class period.

That is a tough question -- because lots of classes call themselves "Intro to Statistics."
They usually fall into one of the following categories:
1. Intro Stats for business majors -- usually accessible to people with High School math. Calculus is not needed.
2. Intro Stats for Social Sciences -- pretty much the same -- maybe watered down a little.
3. Intro Stats for math/science majors -- usually an advanced Math class that requires two years of calculus.
Look at the prerequisites and see if you qualify.

i don't think it is going to be any harder on-line. i took lots of Stat classes in college.
You will need to memorize the assumptions for each statistical test, and you will need to do LOTS of problems to understand - whether it is assigned for homework or not.
Oh the other hand, if you have math anxiety, the class might be easier. or not.
I didn't find Stat to be a subject where classroom discussion helped.

Depends a lot on the professor teaching it. Statistics is nice because it makes logical sense, unlikely algebra with all the letters, etc. Some people find statistics easier than other maths, but some find it harder. Good luck!

I took it in class, and my buddy took it online. Class was easy but the online version was extremely hard according to my friend. In class you get a better explanation and examples.

It's not a hard class. But I would recommend that you actually take the class and not do it online.
