A new born baby's head has bumps, spots, and looks different from day to day due to the incredible growth rate until about 9 months after birth.

yes, spots are normal, and the bumps are a normal thing too. I was just like you, worrying about stuff just like that, but I had a great healthvisitor, and I asked every question in the book and then some !! ask your health visitor, phone her up, they love these questions, and most of all, they can put your mind at rest, as a trusted source

By one month, his pointy head (if he did have one, from being born) should be long gone. He'll have two fontanels (soft spots)...one on the top and one smaller one in the back. He'll probably also have a flat spot on the back of his head from sleeping/lying only on his back. He might also have a small bald spot. Once a baby start sleeping on his stomach/sitting up on a regular basis, the flat spot will go away and the hair will grow back. Right now, he's probably always resting the back of his head on something...his bassinet/crib mattress, your arm, when you hold him, his swing when he sits in it, etc.

babies of this age get milk spots, dont worry, as for bumps, ish ish, there skulls r not fused and r very soft, so some babies heads flatten at the back or side, depending on how they lay while they sleep, check little ones temp an phone ur midwife for advice, or nhs helpline, but without seein little one cant advise you, all new mums worry hun, if spots r red an inflamed call gp an get little one checked, its so hot it could b heatrash, make sure u give baby water as well as milk, all the best, xx

All babies are different. Babies get Cradle Cap, which could be what the little bumps are, if you are in doubt, then speak to your health visitor.

Please do not worry about minor epithelial markings or eruptions on a new born. The skin is a stranger to the external environment at this stage and extremely sensitive to many things.
It's normal and will pass.
You'll know if it's truly serious!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!
