only go by weeks. a full term pregnancy is 40 weeks, counting by months it is 10 months. 18 weeks would really be like 4 1/2 months.

At 18 weeks you are actually 4 months pregnant. The 18th week is the beginning of your fifth month of pregnancy. The day that you get pregnant, is the first day of the first month of pregnancy. Goes pretty fast!!
Don't just focus on the months. Concentrate on the weeks.
Try www.i-am-pregnant.com - this is an awesome site that helps you week by week, with awesome pictures. It even has a body map of discomfort - where you can pinpoint your woes, and leave a message about what you're going through! Also has message boards, real life ultrasound clips, etc.
