Because people cant get along.. never have never will. theres been an ongoing war overthere for 100's of years

read an unbiased history of the confilict. there are some around, but be wary of reading ones that trumpet one side over the other.. people around the world would be wise to follow this advice instead of pointing fingers

...sigh just read it.. like the person ahead of me, The land of palastine was inhabited (pre 1950's) by British (it was a british colony) Arabs and yes you guessed it Jews! .. Jews and Arabs have lived over there in that land and warred over that land for 100's of years before the british... so how is it the palestinians land over the Jews? and vice vera.. they all have a historical claim to it.

If your truely interested.. and not prone to just believing what alot of others are saying about it. Go to this site

www.mideastweb.org/briefhistory.htm

It talks about modren day events that led up to where we are now.. and also an ancient historical overview.

Its heavy reading .. but people that dont read this and just flap at the mouth about it.. really dont have any right to say anything

From history we learn that there has always been war in that region. Check out the Old Testament of the Bible and it will tell quite a bit about that subject. Suffice it to say that, even in our day, people still can't get along. I doubt very much that they ever will. It would take a God, not George Bush, to solve that problem and, so far, He hasn't done it.

Because in 1949 the Europeans decided to make a homeland for the Jewish people so that the Jews would leave Europe. Unfortunately they made the people in Palestine give up land.

It is because there is too big of a division between the haves and the have nots. The US is going that direction.
