My first impression of Sven at this world cup was that of a spent man, it was as if he just wanted the whole thing to be over, correct me if I am wrong, he lacked enthutiasm for a coach with so much accolade. Even Rudd Gulit would have done better

If Sven is a coach with "so much accolade" he must have left it in the job job he had. I have never seen a less enthusiastic, a more couldn't-care-less manager than Sven. He was a total contrast to all other managers. His Crouch and Lennon choices were a puzzle and biggest confusing thing to me was the 4-5-1 putting poor alone amongst Portuguese defenders leaving him with only one think to do.... that is, to chase the ball and never quite reaching it. I have neve seen a LESSER able manager than him. If heis as good as some people have said, then he must have hated England for he never really tried.

Sven was destroyed by the media, as always happens to the England manager. They always drag up some skeletons just before a big tournament and it's always the News of the World. Why do people buy that rag?

No, Sven didn't play the game, the players did. Everyone loved him when we were winning and he was the best manager ever. He's gone, the world cups over lets move on.

The man was a clueless idiot who did wreck England best ever chance of winning the world for over 40 years. Yes i agree we should move on, but surely us real football fans should be able to reflect on what was the reason why the world cup was a total farce for England.

And what's more worrying is, his sidekick Mcclaren is now the boss, golden generation, shite manager.

Does anyone know what FA stands for: F*****g Amateurs

Along with most of his players-Are u telling me that England hasn't any strikers!!!
There are hundreds, so what if they play for Villa or Barnsley,
as for Sven he looked like a five year old left at an amusement park lost.
Mentally England were weak but if his replacement can motivate them they can win anything.

If England win the gang then the prospect is. we will likely get Ghana contained in the merely excellent 16, Uruguay contained in the merely excellent 8 and Brazil contained in the semis. i imagine on our day we may be able to triumph over Brazil so who knows....

yes i think he did with his lack of strikers and wrong formation bring back 4 4 2 even his choices were a bit wrong. he could have taken defoe,wright-phillips,bent etcbut hes gone now lets not dwell on it and look forward too euro 2008 and its qualifiers. a new manager, a new captain and maybe new players

Yes. His tactics(if any) backfired. I mean, why bring walcott if you're just gonna let him warm the bench? Defoe would have been better. He looks like he wants to get done andover with the job. Horrible man who goes for personal gains.
