Being a registered nurse, you should have no problem moving into medical transcription. Most of transcription school is learning the medical terminology, which you already know. You just need to find an employer like mine who is willing to teach you how to use the equipment and allow you some time to get up to speed. Your vast medical knowledge is a great asset. Send out resumes to companies in your town or look on MTJobs.com. Best of luck!

Hi I just made a new friend Michele and she has had her own home transcription business for 7 years. She then started a company to help others start from home. I think she has a lot of free resources to get started. Good luck!!
