"GOD" gave people MINDS to use them and to do better in life.
Sometimes a mother-to-be needs to have a ultrasound or sonogram to see if the baby is healthy to help the baby if it is in any trouble. "GOD" gave people the minds to learn about ourselves and for anyone to say that doctors are playing "GOD" is wrong, he wants us to to use our GIFTS to help other people.
YOU are using a computer right? Well how do you know "GOD" wants us to use them? Maybe we are playing "GOD" with this form of super fast around the world communication systems...
A Sonogram or Ultra sound is not a bad examination.

1. the technology has been around to determine the sex of a child before birth. its called a ultrasound.. not god
2. The technology to change the sex of a fetus has been around for a long time. I dont think it is used though ..maybe illegal
i look at things like this a little differently .. God made us. He gave us minds to use. So im thinking he knew what we would be become and the technology we could create before we even created it. And there is nothing in the bible that says we cant use these technologies either

Ultrasound, but an Amnio can POSITIVELY tell the sex (& some types of birth defects). As for the doctors playing God....NO, it's not like they got to choose the sex of the baby (well, some doctors can, but it's very expensive & that's a another story in itself!!!)!
Plus+++ You CAN opt NOT to be told the sex of the unborn!
((I personally DID find out, no regrets, could buy my BOY stuff & not have to just stick to the unisex stuff, not to mention picking a name!!!))

Well if you have an ultra sound the doctor is basically looking at the baby.. If baby cooperates then there is a chance to see if there is a penis or not.... There are medical advances that claim they can chose the sex but I dunno if they are accurate of ethical.... Also, ultrasounds have been known to be wrong a good portion of the time.. Just ask my 7 year old daughter who I was told several times was a boy...

They can see if it has a penis by just looking at it (my mom is pregnate so i know) and if they cant see anything then its a girl.
they can also stick this REALLY!!! fine needle into your belly button and it goes through the sack and it like get the fluid from around the baby (or something like that). then that will tell u the sex of the baby 100% without a doubt.
Sorry...............they arent "playing god"

they do they amnio test, where they test the amnio fluid and found out the sex for sure, more acurate then a sonogram
