I haven't been struck by lightining EVER but I know that if the waves in the ocean aren't bigger than you...You are likly to be struck, Lightining strikes the biggest thing!!!!!!

Very dangerous to be on the ocean during a lightening storm. Very possible to be hit.

Water conducts electricity.... Lightening is electricity, it will travel over water
