The myth is if you have a boy your nose will get wider...for me the myth is true. In fact a friend of mine visited me from another state at the baby shower and when she showed pictures to her mom and everyone back home they knew I was having a boy because my nose got wider. But everyone is different so it may just depend.

The myth is your nose gets wider if you are having a girl. I just had a daughter and my nose stayed exactly the same.

yes it gets a spread LOL. I am not sure what does it if it is the hormones, the water retention,the weight gain but yes yur nose will get wider. with my first my nose spread and my skin got patches of discoloration from the hormones it is so normal and then it goes away after baby is born not to worry.

Everything gets wider!!!
yes it's true, but just 'til the end of the pregnancy, because you are very swollen, and every part of your body gets BIG!

lol..... if ya gain a ton of weight ...everything gets wider!!!! lol I think what you have been told is definitely a myth!

my friend is pregnant and was reading somewhere online the other day that yes your nose does get bigger. some type of hormone is realeased while pregnant and causes your membranes to get bigger. sorry i don't know names or specifics.

It is true but ,it doesn't happen to everyone.And it doesn't matter how much weight u gain.It usually doesn't happen until the near end of your pregnancy .I had 4 kids and i weighed over 200 lbs.for everyone of them and mine didn't do it.Everyone is different.

I heard this also when I was pregnant, but didn'y really notice until I saw some pictures of myself!! I was so self concious!!

NO myth,it happens but keep in mind everybody is different.I t happened to me.
