Isreal is stuck between a rock and a hard place (Palestinians.) Each year it seems more clear the Islamic culture has been hyjacked by extremists who's only goal is the same as the President of Iran - to wipe Israel off the face of the globe. Isreal does everything it can to provide peace. It's not a hegehomy, and they certainly are not imperialistic, so let them peacefully live on the land they currently have, no more. But, here's my prediction. There never will be peace in the Middle East in our lifetimes. Muslims countries and terrorists groups have an uncanny ability to hold grudges, (boy is that an understatement.) Many have been particiularly upset since 1948, when Israel became a country. This will continue to be a revolving problem in the world to anyone who wants to do business there (oil.)

Do you know the modern history of Israel? Here is a brief summary. The desire of Jews to return to what they consider their rightful homeland was first expressed during the Babylonian captivity after 597 BC.
There is no evidence of any interruption of the Jewish presence there for the last three millennia.
The British Mandate 1920-1946
Under the terms of this Mandate, Britain's principal obligation was to facilitate the implementation of the Balfour Declaration of November 2, 1917 which pledged "the establishment of a national home for the Jewish people."
In 1922 the British divided Palestine into two administrative districts. Jews would be permitted only in the west side.
In 1946 the British had partitioned Palestine and created an independent Palestine-Arab State - Jordan.
November 29, 1947, the General Assembly of the United Nations voted with a 2/3 majority to partition western Palestine into a Jewish and an Arab State.
The Arabs rejected it.
The Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin Al Husseini stated "I declare a holy war, my Moslem brothers" "Murder them all!"
On the day that Israel declared its independence, the armies of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq invaded their tiny country with the declared intent of destroying it.
Three major attempts to destroy Israel have been carried out by the Arab world:
1947 1967 and 1973.
THREE major, and countless other attempts to destroy Israel have been carried out by the Arab world and YET Israel still seeks Peace. How can any thinking person sincerely believe Israel has not participated in peace negotiations in good faith?
Israel gave back the Sinai desert to the Egyptians in return for a PEACE TREATY!
A PEACE TREATY was signed between Israel and Jordan.
Israel was close to an agreement with the Palestinians which would have resulted in an independent Palestinian state. BUT this did not happen because Arafat, and the other leaders in the Arab world had/have a vision of the world that does not include Israel.
Is there another country that has been pressured politically, and agreed to, give back land won in a war?
What other country is pressured NOT to defend its territory and citizens from attack?
Would we sit back and ask for negotiations if someone launched bombs into anyone of our cities?
Israel is doing what every country has a right/responsibility to do, protect its citizens and its borders.
Israel has every right to defend themselves against Hezbollah and Hamas. Both of these terrorist organizations have the destruction of Israel as their goal.
Other countries need to think about this. They may start with the Jewish people...then who is next? Hitler started with the Jews, but did not stop there.

The question is poorly phrased. But...one need only look at the history of the two involved groups. The Jewish people have always been hated, feared, looked down upon, and brutally persecuted. By their own account, the only time when they weren't was when they posessed their own nation and were ruled by their own people. I can't remember the exact dates, but the Jews were more or less forcibly migrated all across the Roman Empire by the Romans because they were by far the most troublesome of the empire's "subjects". I think the Holocaust was more or less the last straw for the Jewish psyche. When they were given the chance to resurrect their ancient nation of Israel, they took it. The problem, that still remains today, is that the British also promised the Palestinians that they would get their own nation as well, and Israel has shown little regard for that ever since all of their neighbors declared war. They see the Arabs as trying to oppress them and take their autonomy, their freedom from them, whereas the Arabs see them as western colonizers who have occuppied Palestinians lands, and they wish to restore their Arab brothers to the autonomy they rightfully deserve. Neither side could ever be said to be right. They are, more or less, both wrong, IMO, as neither has shown much willingness to listen to the other...

I don't think it's a matter of hating peace. You would want to embrace a sustainable peace, one that you can reasonably count on with reasonable effort of your own and reasonable expectations of peaceful inclinations of your neighbors or former foes.
Israel's a small country, with a minimal population, with scant internal resources and heavy dependence on external aid, surrounded by nations and peoples who are explicitly or implicitly seeking the annihilation of Israel. They are prodded and provoked, and really have to defend the land established as the Israeli state with whatever means are at their disposal.
The UN...really, the rest of the civilized world in general, have performed insufficiently since the end of WW2 to secure peace, property rights, sustainable government, infrastructure and resources, for Jews and Arabs to co-exist in this area.
The US for many reasons supports the Israeli state in an imbalanced manner with respect to how the Palestinian Authority is supported. The UN generally seems to view Israel as acting disproportionately in responding to attacks from Palestinian groups (supported by various Muslim and non-Muslim countries). The Palestinian people suffer, likely because they have such faith in the fervent anti-Israel leadership it supports and elects, who don't really desire to establish a Palestinian state AS MUCH as they're interested in eliminating the Israeli state. Peace is not the objective unless it involves the absence of Jews and Israel from that part of the world.
No other region needs peacekeeping and protectorate status more than the area along the Mediterranean between Turkey and Egypt. The Israelis are damned if they defend themselves, damned if they don't. The Palestinians are damned if they support Hamas/Hezbollah, and damned if they don't (as these organizations provide many needed services in Palestinian lands). Meanwhile, Saudis, Iranians and Syrians all use the Palestinians as pawns to provoke Israel and generally disrupt/annoy the heck out of their daily lives. Does it really threaten Israel? Not yet. Does it drive up the price of oil? Heck yes. Are the Saudis and Iranians big oil producers? Go read into that one.
So long as there's peace there, there are no economic advantages to those on the periphery (Syria, Iran, Saudis, Egypt, Jordan, US, EU, Russia, China, etc.). Everyone's got a stake in keeping things just a little interesting, so it can support the oil and gas speculators assessment of supply disruption (which is outright false) and raise oil prices (or keep them high).
It's not so much hating peace as keeping yourself alive and relatively secure. Both sides have an interest in doing that, it's just that Israel is more equipped to do it, and the Palestinian people in general are left to the folly and exploitation of those who serve as their leaders- puppets of other masters who fund and direct them.

Your question is biased and doesnt address reality. Conflict in an area of the world is not a sign that the perpetrators "hate peace".
