i want to get my labret pierce. but im afraid because i hate needles but i want it done so bad. please give me the honest truth

A labret piercing is your lower lip, not your ear. They are two different parts of your body with different kinds of sensitivity. You cannot compare an lobe piercing with a labret.
Honestly now, is it the needle or the pain? You can't be afraid of pain and get piercings. It's part of the piercing package. Bear in mind that the pain is temporary and will actually give you a huge adrenaline rush (which is why some people get "addicted" to body modifications). It will hurt but it won't be the most terrible thing you have ever experienced in your whole life. If it hurt that bad not as many people would have them.

i have both, so i could answer for both i guess haha
ears.. usually done with a gun unless it's a daith or something that's hard to get to. if it's in cartilage, it will pop and definitely sting. no matter where you get your ear pierced, it will sting and get crusty until your body is used to the metal there.
the labret... the clamp that holds your lip down is heavy and pinches a bit. i can't remember how the needle going through felt but i don't think it was TOO bad. mine did bleed quite a bit... and like all piercings it will be red and very tender to the touch. might swell a bit too.

It hurts for a few minutes, the hard part is: keeping alcohol on it everyday and night so it will heal without
getting infected. It will get sore just keep the alcohol cotton swaps available to wipe or soak on your pierced ears. You will be glad you went for this because there are so many cute earrings available..

Yes, it does hurt, but not a lot as people make you think. I thought, "Oh my god, it's going to feel like getting shot in the face." but really, it only hurts for a few seconds. Try to relax and take a friend with you so they can talk to you while it's being done so you'll have something else to think about.

ears... not really.....just felt heavy once they where in... labret...was a little more painful....had a hard time removing the labret which made my lip sore.... I have to rinse with mouth wash after i eat anything or it gets sore some times... but i like it!

it hurts pretty bad for a few seconds, then they put this cooling stuff on it to relieve the pain. i did really bad with getting mine pierced, and i had a headache and needed some tylenol. no biggie. it's totally worth it!

It will sting a littel but only like for 5 sec. then it will all be over and u will have ur ear rings by the time u know it.

no i have it done twice because the first one held up in a soccer game but it fells like u r getting a shot in the ear thats all i promise

ear piercings only hurt sightly it depends on how well you handle pain or not the worst part is trying to sleep on them or talk on the phone LOL

well to tell you the truth i just got my cartilage pierced last week and it doesnt hurt but wen you see the neddle it wil scare you you can feel it but it really dosnt hurt and they might say itll hurt after jus dont tuch unless you need to and youll be fine trust me k
