One of my favorite players back in the day, but he's a joke in management. Everything he touches turns to crap. The guy single-handidly tanked the CBA. Remember his friendship with Larry Bird? No more. And I do believe the Knicks were at least a respectable team before he arrived. Now they are so far over the cap it will take them years to turn it around. And now he's the coach. Good luck with that Kincks fans.

I loved Isiah the player, a scrappy little warrior who played through injury after injury and was the soul of a very tough talented Detroit team.
I agree with the other postings about the devastation Isiah the Executive has left in his wake. I can't add to other postings concerning the CBA, the Pacers and the Knicks but will add that Isiah was essentially chased from Detroit and Toronto as well.

He was a very respectable person on the court. Some people aren't meant to manage or coach and Isiah would be on the top of this list along with Jordan and Magic. Magic has found his destiny in life after playing ball now Isiah need to find his.

a great guy; when he was an nba player. 2 championships with the detroit pistons, many all star appearances, one of the 50 nba greatest players of all time. hey, he even made all the players not pass jordan the ball in an all star game in the late 80's. however, jordan got him back by not having him on the 1992 olympic dream team.
as an owner of the new york knicks, he's been autrocious. other than bringing stephon marbury back home, he's brought in guys that are getting paid too much and not producing on the floor. jalen rose, steve francis, eddy curry, and penny hardaway (who was traded back to orlando, then waived) just to name a few. new york knicks make the harlem globetrotters seem like a playoff team.
also he's responsible for the destruction of the cba, which was fine until he took over.

Is absolutely no good as a GM or coach. He did nothing with the raptors, bankrupted the CBA, led a capable Pacers team that went to the eastern finals the previous year to a first round exit, and now has completely messed up the knicks.

Great player with the right team.
GM and coach? I hear all the cats coughing up hairballs right now.
CBA? destroyed.
Pacers? out the window.
Bird? couldn't do it with his talent, either.
Brown? blame him for everything, works now but when the Knicks croak, NY will run him out SO fast, he won't be able to pack his underwear.
Can't remember if he partook in the Raptors melee...

Ummm.... Are you asking how he'll do? I think he'll win 30 games and get fired. Thanks for asking.
