In addition to sun protection, use cleansers and lotions that have exfoliating properties, like Alpha Hydroxy Acids; and loofahs or other scrubbing sponges (I love BufPufs for my face and body). This removes the top layer of dead skin to reveal the fresher skin beneath it - so it keeps you from looking ashy.
I'm very fair-skinned, but I can see a glow to my skin all over when it's exfoliated, plus I've dated black guys and we found this helped with ashiness.

How about you just love yourself for who and what you are. White people spends millions of dollars trying to accomplish the skin tone we have, doesn't that make you feel special? It makes me feel special. Anyways, wear sunblock because Bob Marley was mixed too and died of skin cancer... so you can too. I don't know if u just dont like the fact that you are half *****, or if you just want to protect urself from UV rays... so either wear sunblock, or enjoy being a Zebra/Oreo/Mutt/Mulato/BiRacial/Mixie. have a great day!

Stay out of the sun or wear sun block. Be proud of your heritage.
Millions of white folks are spending millions of dollars on tanning salons and such and what you got came free. Wear a hat.
