Figure what percentage of the world population is industrialized (their economy), then figure an average of 3 email addresses per person.

Something like 1.5 billion at a guess.

Let us say that you could actually get a correct answer ( per company) from the top 30 companies,companies like
AOL
Google
yahoo
Comcast

Just in the time it would take to add up the numbers, the total amount of email addresses would have increased.
