I would say that ALL people have some sort of prejudice deep down inside of them. Not necessarily against a specific group or people, a religion or something along those lines. Foe example, think of one specific food that you simply cannot stand. You've tried it several times and simple do not like it. After awhile you simple refuse to eat anything which is made with or from it. You develop a prejudice. I'm this way about pineapple. Some cultures certain types of animals or insects are considered delicacies, yet most people here in America may find the very same thing revolting. It's just a form of prejudice that all of us have inside. Some, however, it goes further, they go and judge everyone by the color of their skin, their religion, etc. This type of prejudice is not good and is certainly not healthy.
As for your question about churches, some people choose to segregate them for various reasons. Here in South Carolina we have a lot of Pentecostal Churches which are mostly black in their congregations. The reason for this is more of them whites tend to have some more conservative views on various teachings. This of itself doesn't make it wrong. But just because a congregation is all white or all black should make no difference at all. I have spoken in several churches before on the topic of mental health and the Bible, and some of the ones I have spoken in, I was the only white person (even thought I am 1/4 Sioux I am considered white). I completely enjoyed myself and they enjoyed having me there. I
As for your question about all white people being racist deep down inside, the answer is NO! How do you explain a couple of mixed race when one is white and the other is black? If they really hated each other then why did they get married? You do however, have people of all color that are racists. They can be white, black, yellow, or any other color. Racism and prejudice is NOT restricted to one specific color or group of people. You will find it in people in all walks of life

I don't think ALL white people are racists, and neither are ALL blacks or Hispanics or whoever. But a lot of them are. I remember how I worked with a black woman who I thought very highly of, and we had just finished having a conversation. I left the room and she thought I couldn't hear her anymore. It really hurt my feelings to hear her say that she didn't trust white girls, and the blonde ones were the worst. So after that I never had anything to do with her. And that was her fault because I truly wasn't thinking anything bad about her. But it's just that you want to live where you feel comfortable and you can't feel comfortable about something (or someone) you know nothing about. How often have You went to a church where the denomination was largely another race? You should answer your own question, but I think that since you are asking this, You must be racist also, because a lot of the time, the first to accuse are thinking it deep in their own hearts. Anyway, I'm sorry you feel that way.

Some whites are, some blacks are, some Asians are, some Hispanics are racist. This should come as no surprise. The need to identify with others of your same race, religion, nationality, etc. is completely natural. The problem arises when this kind of group mentality leads to hatred or discrimination.
Your statement that "white people are racists" doesn't work well. In order to believe, you need to judge every white man by the color of his skin. That, of course, is racist. Now we've come full circle.
On another note, I'm white in appearance, but not in theory due to Native American ancestry. I lived in Milwaukee Wisconsin for many years and on many occasions I've been accosted by blacks simply because I look like a white guy (and yes, for all practical purposes I am indeed a white man). Many of my white friends have been through similar situations, some of which have ended in grievous bodily harm.
My point is, racism in all it's forms is just plain ugly. To pit race against race by targeting one or the other as the "culprit" will do absolutely nothing to relieve racial tension. We need to recognize that racism is a human disease, not a white mans disease.
You should reevaluate your thesis.

bloody hypocrite don't you think your statement sounds ever so slightly racist? prat. You do know that racism isn't ONLY towards blacks can work both ways? By tarring all whites under one brush you are indeed being very racist. Furthermore do you think the rest of the world is all united under one glorious "not white" community? There are many cases of racism between Asians and blacks, and then between Asians and Asians where people have been stabbed for being of the wrong country although both in Asia. You are very small minded and blind. Racism is global and not just a dislike of whites for blacks. As if this was a view all whites shared anyway. Now get your head out from your @ss.

Just like every country on the planet, the US has cultural differences. When cultures clash, there are differences that are hard to overcome. Black people seem to have a culture of mistrust of white people. Maybe they have good reason for this mistrust, but it doesn't go a long way in building a bridge. Of course, not all black people live with this mistrust.
White people fear crime and the disintegration of neighborhoods and lower property values. Are all black people about crime and lower property values? Of course not. White people are not going to abandon this culture of suspicion until they seek it out and find that it isn't what it's all about.

Statistically Black Men commit four times as much violent crime per capita.
1 in 4 Black men between 18 and 25 is either in prison or has served a term.
1 in 13 Black men will be murdered by another black man.
I'm not saying all blacks are violent criminals. But there is definitly something scary about poor black neighborhoods, just like there is about poor hispanic and poor white neighborhoods.

Did it ever occur to you that black people avoid living in white neighborhoods and choose to go to different churches? It's a two way street.
Most every neighborhood that is predominantly black has high crime. That's a fact not a racist stereotype. Why don't you list predominantly black neighborhoods for us that have low crime rates to prove me wrong?

Not at all, where do you get this from? I dont know if you have noticed but the inner cities have been becomming whiter lately.
you should be asking why is it blacks have there own churches, if there are churches with only white people its probably because thats the only people who live near the church, you come to my city thats 68% white and we have black churches everywhere as well as haitian churches, brazilian churches, spanish speaking churches, chinese church. Anyone can come to the mainly white churches.
Where do you get that parents judge schools by the number of blacks? I went to whatever school was in my city.
You seem racist yourself

I resent that you can make such generalizations. Miserable people take out their frustrations on the easiest target they can find. For so long the black community did not have rights or any recourse, that is not the case today. Unfortunately, the stigma has endured. Blacks say all whites are racist and whites say all blacks are racist, it happens every day. But not all white people say it and niether do all blacks. Grow up, be concerned if people appreciate who you are. If color and racism is whats on your mind then that is the message you will send and your energy will bear that out. Worry about making your life better and people will treat you accordingly.

Not only are white people racists, there are some blacks that are too...In my opinion all are stupid...We need to as human beings need to all learn to get along and love one another, but they do those things that you mention...We have good black churches also, and some good schools, and they wonder when they grow why they do the things they do, because they were not taught better growing up....
