Exactly how should we deal with Terriost if you don't want us using Military force?

"AshleyL" IS right!! And Clinton should have done more the first time the WTC was attacked by Al Quiada. They said then that they would be back. Then the USS Cole, the attacks on the consulates in Africa. We always try diplomacy until we got a strong President to say NO MORE!!
If anyone wants to remember what Terrorists are like, go to MichaelSavage.com and watch the heads being cut off. I wont watch, because I already know. You want them in America? Don't vote Democrat. I use to be a Demo. but not anymore, I'm too scared to try and make peace with Terrorists.

To answer the question, the people saying that are simply wrong. The terrorists declared war on us, not on 9/11 as some of the kids here think, but in 1978. It has taken us 6 presidential terms (1 Carter, 2 Reagan, 1 Bush, 2 Clinton) till the current Bush finally did something about it.
Now Carter was incompetent so even if he had tried he would have failed. Reagan had bigger fish to fry (the Soviet Union) and fry they did, but he did slap Libya around a bit. Bush Sr. Not a big fan of his actually was a blah President, but did run a solid campaign in the first Gulf War. Clinton, well cigars and interns were all he was about, he did lob a few cruise missiles into Iraq but he generally was more interested in issues in the Oral Office.
The world is just getting into gear for a extermination of Islamic terror, lead of course by who always leads the world.

We should be fighting the war on terror. However, the neoconservative ideology of actively creating democracies in the Middle East (which is why we have the Iraq war) has failed (misplaned by the neoconservatives) and has compromised the war on terror, the effort in afghanistan, and the rest of the crises we see today.

Because most people don't believe the war on terror should have been started in Iraq. The terrorists were NOT FROM IRAQ.

I'm thinking we are dealing the only way we can. They've been attacking us since the 70's and I think our patience has been stretched to its limits. The 9/11 attack was the one that broke the camels back. You cannot negotiate with these people. Their twisted mind thinks we should be dead. Maybe if we gave them a bunch of flowers they will think we are nice and wont' hurt us. Yeah...right......

We shouldn't be fighting this war in Iraq. Big difference. We, by our actions have CREATED a terrorist state in Iraq. Afganistan, no problem, all for it. Iraq? Personal vendetta? Wealth? Whatever the reason it was a mistake.
