Romans 6:23
For the WAGES of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Wages implies what we've earned. This is what we all deserve due to the darkness of the hearts of mankind. But away from that Jesus took upon those wages for us in exchange that we live free and happy and when we die we can be eternally in Heaven. A place where every tear is wiped away and pain is replaced with joy and perfect peace. That's something that this world can not very closely replocate. So why not accept that gift? What do you have to lose?

To Wise. You claim that King James was the first time the New Testiment came about. That is false it was compiled centuries prior written in greek and latin. Upon finding old Papyrus manuscripts dating a few decades from the epistles were originally written they made sure that everything lined up to it's pratically original text and even today that is what they use in bible translations. Also I have read the Torah and every prophecy made always points to Jesus birth, life, enduring the cross and resurrection. I don't even consider the Quran as it was written by a murderer who wanted people to submit to his ideals or die and Islamic culturing "cleansing" still happens today. I'm sure another suicide bomb is killing innocent women and children as I type this.
The Dead Sea Scrolls, proved that the biblical translations of the Old Testiment (Torah) are absolutely correct. King James just put it in a modern language
The Macabi's originally put the bible together. Do your research
