Because Hezbollah, a terrorist group that has been attacking Israel for years, is based in Lebanon. Hezbollah receives funding from sympathetic Arab governments and charitys to carry out its activities. In recent weeks Hezbollah has increased its attacks and the straw that broke the camels back is when they went from Lebanon to Israel, kidnapped 2 Israeli soldiers and brought them back to Lebanan. Hezbollah is is based in Lebanon. Lebanon may publicly say it denounces terrorism, but then on the other hand they allow this group to stay there and they help fund it.

The government of Lebanon refuses to police the radicals in the south who keep attacking Israel.
If Lebanon will tolerate thesae terrorsist, then they get everything they deserve.

Because an Israelie soldeirs invaded lebenon where they were captured and now israel says they should release the soldiers but lebenon said theyd release them for a prisoner exchange but Israel refused and rocketed attacked Lebenon killing 81 people and so thats what started the war .

Israel wants to react their soldier's kidnapping. But, actually kidnapping that soldier was Palestinians(I mean, HAMAS) reaction against Israel because Israel killed 7 children in last weeks!
So, it's a little bit confusing...
