My aunt has been put on bed rest for the remainder of her pregnancy and I'm going to stay the weekend with her while my uncle is out of town. What am I supposed to do the whole weekend?

Help out your Aunt! Cook her something new, clean up her house to get ready for baby, offer to shop for her, be her eyes, ears and feet for her while she cannot move. Ask her what it is she would do if she could get up and move, and get things done for her. After all the help is done rent a movie, buy fast food, watch the movie with your Aunt, don't ya think she's also bored out of her mind?

Whenever I'm bored, I jump on the computer. Maybe your aunt has one that can be moved into her room or someone has a laptop she can borrow? Also, you can buy a book on card games and learn a few new ones! For when she's alone, a good book can pass time or a book on tape might help her relax. Then there's always good old-fashioned conversation! The one upside to being pregnant and bedridden, as opposed to just being bedridden, is there's always something nice to talk about...the baby! Good luck

I was on bed rest the last four months of my second pregnancy and you are not allowed to do anything other than get up to take a quick shower and use the bathroom. what you should do is just keep her company. you'll prbably have to cook her food and basically help her with what ever she needs help with.

Just make sure she doesn't get up for anything other than going to the bathroom. I got a little antsy toward the end of my pregnancy and as a result my baby was born 15 days early.

Try to help out around the house as much as you can. Make sure she gets lots of rest and nutritious meals , that means not a whole lot of junk food. just try to be there for what ever she needs help with, and congratulations with your new cousin . Good Luck!!!!

i was on bed-rest for my last two pregnancy.. there's not much that she can do as far as far exercise... but rent movies, videos games are always fun my husband and i did that while i was in the hospital for 1 month.... but your best bet is to just do whatever she wants... being on bed-rest is not very fun when it is something you have to do!!!! Just have fun and make her laugh!!!
