You are still young enough to keep growing. Males usually have a growth spurt around age 20-21. Don't give up but don't dwell on it either.

Sleeping will not make you grow. Eating good fruits and vegetables will help. Watch out for the bad stuff like beer and junk foods.

Good luck!

Just drink plain milk. If you don't like the taste, just keep drinking it until you get used to the taste. I actually like the taste of milk and before I didn't much care for it. Your height dependent on your genetics and there is not much you can do to change that. You can eat a healthy and balanced diet to make sure that you grow to your full potential as outlined by your DNA, but that's about it. For stretches, make sure you stretch all your muscles at least twice a day. You might not gain much height, but it is possible to gain 1/2 or 1 inch in some cases. You will lose this height if you stop stretching.

Don't ever take the sleeping pills route!!

1. They will damage your liver big time and you can get into serious health problems.

2. You will get hooked up on them and you won't be able to have a normal life any more if you don't take your pills everyday.

The sleeping pills industry is damaging our health by capitalizing on our ignorance, and by distracting people from effective and natural ways to deal with this problem. I had been taking prescription sleep medications [Ambien] for over 5 years. It stopped working and I simply took more. Still did not work. Nights were very difficult - medication put me to sleep but I would wake up after 2–3 hours with a strong sympathetic response (fast pulse, pounding heartbeat, wide awake alert). It was a very difficult cycle to break. I was really in bad shape due to lack of sleep.

After years of struggling I was able to cure my insomnia naturally and pretty fast. I followed the Sleep Tracks sleep optimization program, here is their official web -site if you want to take a look: http://www.insomniacure.net

Ohhh..and Good Luck!

I think men can still grow up until the age of 20 or so. But being that your parents and brothers are the same heights as you, I think you've probably reached your peak. Nothing can help you grow.

its genetic, you wont likely get any taller, if you had started on human growth hormone when you were 12 or so it might have helped, now all you could do is have your leg bones cut in two and then have the exterior fram put ]on them, then you screw it a turn or two every day for months, trying to encourage streaching of the skin and new bone growth in the cut off area. this costs thousands of dollars and is extremely painful, give up and be happy with who you are, im only 5 ft 5 and im 58

You may grow a little more, but with the height of your family being close to what you are, it probably wont be much more if any. You should not focus too much on the things you cannot change, but rather on the things you can....strive to learn and better your life..height is just a number it doesnt have anything to do with who you are as a person. Best of luck and be healthy.

Sorry, you're pretty much done with all your growing. My advice is to wear tall shoes.

And I'm 5'7 and all I wanted a few years ago was to be shorter. Being happy with the way you are is extremely important in life... something that I'm finding out very quickly.

OK, sleeping does make you grow a tiny margin, it stretches your spinal chord. unfortunately when you get up, it goes back to normal, you still may have 4 years worth of growing left. and milk helps strengthen the bones not stretch them. sorry mate but serious height don't really matter

sleeping always helps you to grow an inch and as the day goes by you shrink so sleeping in the afternoon helps you to grow that inch again

are you kidding me? You might still grow, your only 17, but if you rents are that short and you are 5'3" at 17, your probaby not gonna grow much taller, you could wear high heels, or lifts or whatever if you really care, or jsut spike your hair so its super tall.
