Sugaring is an alternative to waxing and can be done at home for a cost of next to nothing. Based on a technique developed by the ancient Egyptians, sugaring removes hair using a natural ingredient - sugar. The procedure is gentle on your skin, and if accidentally swallowed, tastes delicious.

It is an exfoiliant sometimes used in leg waxes. When you put on the wax, the warmth helps add moisture to the skin, the sugar helps exfoliate, so when you take it off, your legs are soft and smooth.

It offers results similar to waxing and is often though to be a less painful form of hair removal.
I've heard that if you have bad reactions to wax, or if you have sensitive skin, it's the best option.

the only thing i can think of is skin sloughing -- like washing your face with sugar would feel rough on your face -- but it removes dead skin and reveals the shiny new skin underneath -- like walking in sand at the beach naturally takes the ugly calluses off the feet -- a natural pedicure --
