Imesh is the only way to go. It's free for the first month, but it's only about $8 a month afterward. They have about anything you can find, and the downloads are superfast if you use broadband or DSL. You download protected WMA files that require a license, but get Tunebite (download it from www.tunebite.com) and you can remove the protection. Tunebite costs around $7-$8, and once you have it, you have it forever. Hope this helps.

The best programs is limewire if you want free music that is illegal and for the legal side I say iTunes which you have to pay.

Napster is very good and virus free, but it is not free. Limewire & Frostwire are both free, and they have a wide trange of music. They are a peer to peer setup so virusis could be aproblem.

I have Napster, and I love it. You can download music to your machine, but not burn CD's and not fill up your MP3 for about $10 a month. Some songs you'll have to buy, but 90% is "free" to listen to.
