It's got a gothic choir in the background and loud crashing cymbols as well as drums. does anybody know what i'm talking about? it's been killing me, i want to find it soooo bad! please help! i just need some ideas, if you have any clue what i'm talking about just send an answer my way...please please please!

oh, and there have also been a few techno remixes of it as well, if you know the DJ that would be awesome too :)

It's a section out of the Oh Fortuna movement of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana.

O Fortuna O Fortune,
velut luna like the moon
statu variabilis, you are changeable,
semper crescis ever waxing
aut decrescis; and waning;
vita detestabilis hateful life
nunc obdurat first oppresses
et tunc curat and then soothes
ludo mentis aciem, as fancy takes it;
egestatem, poverty
potestatem and power
dissolvit ut glaciem. it melts them like ice.

Sors immanis Fate - monstrous
et inanis, and empty,
rota tu volubilis, you whirling wheel,
status malus, you are malevolent,
vana salus well-being is vain
semper dissolubilis, and always fades to nothing,
obumbrata shadowed
et velata and veiled
michi quoque niteris; you plague me too;
nunc per ludum now through the game
dorsum nudum I bring my bare back
fero tui sceleris. to your villainy.

Sors salutis Fate is against me
et virtutis in health
michi nunc contraria, and virtue,
est affectus driven on
et defectus and weighted down,
semper in angaria. always enslaved.
Hac in hora So at this hour
sine mora without delay
corde pulsum tangite; pluck the vibrating strings;
quod per sortem since Fate
sternit fortem, strikes down the string man,
mecum omnes plangite! everyone weep with me!

The intro to 2001 A Space Odyssey is classical with crashing cymbols. It doesn't have a gothic choir though. It's like a theme that a pro wrestler would use when strutting down to the ring.

Avenged Sevenfold and Coheed And Cambria both include strings into their music. i imagine Fall Out Boy has a number of their songs, yet their no longer metallic.... ehhhh. H.I.M has some classical instruments of their music. for sure you should always pay interest to each and each and every of the string tributes to bands. i am going to't get adequate of them. I exceptionally love the string tribute to Avenged Sevenfold and 311.
