when i was in 7th grade, my english teacher really hated kids. on the day before winter break all the teachers except for her let us watch a movie. we told her that and so she said 'fine, you can watch A Christmas Carol' because that was the book we were reading. we sat down in class the next day and she pops in the movie...it was the Muppets! we were so bored. that was the day we figured out that even if she let us watch a movie, we were not allowed to be entertained by it. ah, i miss her.
