For you lame brains saying we weren't in conflict on Sept 10, 2001, we were still very much active in Iraq with patrolling and occasionally shooting in the no-fly zone. We have been in a state of perpetual military action since the nation was founded, be it a formal war, the Indian Wars of the unsettled territories in the 19th century or so called "peace keeping" excercies. The correct answer is never.

From 1919 to 1942 we where not at all out war. From1945 to 1950 we were not at war. The Korean War does not count because that war never ended, it is just in a time out..Viet Nam(my war) was winnable if the politicians had stayed out. From then on we have been fighting somewhere.Thats why we have a army. Better to fight them there then here..

Never. They get bored very easily you see so they like to spend their time thinking of anything they can start a war for. Where normal people usually get bored and, I dont know, maybe drink a nice bottle of wine or even go for a peaceful walk....America enjoys sending bombs over civilian land and ripping the **** out of small, helpless communities. : ) Oh, the Land of the Free. What a wonderful place it is. (Can you taste my sarcasm)

you mean "conflicts" or "police actions" or "interventions"? the government always uses a "conflict" to bolster the economy when there is fear that its slipping. the problem is that "conflicts" can backfire and esclate and that a "conflct" is needed about every 10 years
