Just watching the movie about her gives me the chills. It's just very sad.

I was in shock for the most part. I couldnt come to terms that she was killed. Even today, it seems like shes still alive because her music is still played, as if made yesterday. All the reminders through out Corpus Christi of her. But then you you see something that says "the late singer Selena" it like slashes wounds open, like man she really is gone. Selena did not deserve this, she was so beautiful and talented , loving & caring. She had so much more to live for. Selena loved everyone she knew, but she loved and cared for the wrong person. Selena was a true angel on earth and God wanted her home to sing with the angels.

I was really little when she died but when I saw the movie I was sad because she seemed like an awesome person. I could equate her death to aaliyah's. It sucks that its always the hot celebrities who die young. instead of the not so hot ones.

I felt terribly sad. Me being of a different race, I really liked her and honestly had her CD. Tragedy because she was so about to be the next big thing in Latin culture.

I was starting to listen to her music.It was really sad that her manager shot her.
I was not aware that I stayed at the same hotel room where she was shot when I went the following year.The hotel has changed the room numbers.

It was a tragedy for someone so young to die in such a tragic way. I always wondered how big she might have become in music if she hadn't died when she did.

I cried. I loved her music and she felt like a big sister to me. Looking back, she was also Latino like me and it was nice to see her doing so well with her music.
