depends on how long you'll be gone.... I've put them all together in the tub before with just a little water in the bottom and they drank to their roots content and had humidity in the air as well.
I don't do houseplants anymore .... have an acre to plant and visit.

Us little water bottles or milk jugs with pinholes in them. They should just drip maybe a few times a minute, even less if you'll be gone long. Need one hole at the top too, but do cover the big hole or it will evaporate. Or find a kid to pay a few bucks to come water once a week.

Take a ceramics class. You can make a ceramic dripper that you can stick in the dirt and fill with water. It will last a week.

Your local home center has controls that can automatically manage 3 or four valves.
