how do i get help with money when separating from a long term relationship?

husband left and i need help with bills without going into debt, i am in full time work with a daughter 17yrs who also works. i get £20 per week from my ex partner...........can someone help me to stay a float...........see if there is any government help that i can get...i have always worked and payed into the system
