I have it all planned out I will get no less than 18 points on my report card if you understand the gpa system. I will get a gpa off 3.0 to 4.0. My chances are of a 3.7 gpa.

I dunno, if a kid has ALWAYS gotten straight a's, the parentals expect it everytime, trust me, I know. A-'s are almost like c's in my dad's eyes, lol. Anyway, I don't really know if I have any good tips because, well, I don't study or anything. BUT I'd say try to study as much as you can, flash cards help from what I hear. Don't study while listening to music or anything. Try your best to get kickass grades this year! Good luck! Prove the parentals wrong!

OK. Well, I am just like you. Last term, my report card wasnt as good as it usually is. Just tell your parents that it was a hard year for you and that you understand where you went wrong now. Promise them that you will study, and the only way to make them realize that you aren't stupid is to prove them wrong. Study more and bring home better grades. There is no way around this one.

Report Cards don't mean you're dumb or intelligent, they only show how you are doing in school, as in turning in homework, classworks, and how well you do in tests.
Usually, Gifted children don't get high grades because they feel it's either too easy or they want to try to fit in. I know this firsthand, my folks don't like it when I get bad grades and act as if i was stupid. Just try to turn in homeworks and classworks, that's usually the weak point of report cards...

hope this helped

The fact that you are so concerned about this is a very good sign. You obviously want to do better. Study hard and use lots of resources. I wish I had had the Internet available to me when I was growing up. Believe me, it's a marvelous tool for your education.

I think they are wrong. One bad report card does not mean you're stupid. But it does mean you are doing something that is not helping your grades, so they should be suspicious but not name-calling.

You, on the other hand, need to stop making excuses and come clean: girls, drugs, wrong friends, daydreaming?

You've got good writing skills and make a very good impression with your question. I think, perhaps, your parents are being too hard on you. Oh well, they are parents. Try not to let it get you down...you'll do just fine.

1. I'm sure that you're parents wouldn't call you "stupid"
2.Here is a little mini-guide to help you in school and homework:
-Do your homework in a comfortable place
-Pay attention in school
-If you don't understand something, look at it again in a different perspective
Basically, that's it
