I am getting a DIVORCE < going to get the papers started, Monday morning, I am wondering, How long it takes to get it over with. and the Divorce to be final. I am not wanting alot out of the Divorce. I want my car and just a few other things. we have a house that is paid for in full he has a motocyle. A bussiness he works of the house with. A truck paid for along with alot of other stuff, all I want is this to be over with. He is a real bad drinker and want ever he else he maybe into.
I have heard some night mares things he into. I need support to make it though all this. if someone is interested in having a E-mail Buddy leave your E-mail address. < I WILL > I PROMISS U this !

Nancy, Who knows how long the process will take one thing for sure if you both agree on everything it will make it much easier and faster...Its very stressful and hard on the mind and body...
But you need to know after you get through this process and everything final life will get so much better each day..
You can live breath and do what your heart desires...
It will all get better in time good luck and be happy!!!

It takes time and Once my ex filed the paper work we were divorced in a month but we has no issues in who got what, He got everything and I got sole custody of the kid
There is a yahoo group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Dealing_with_Divorce/ there a nice group who can give you information I don't belong to it any more I had a "why me" and "poor me" attitude for too long when I was there and I left when they got sick of me

It depends on whether he fights you or not. You can get an amicable divorce in six months or so. If he wants to argue about it, it can drag on for years.

my wife is serving me divorce papers in august; we been seperated for 9 months . i'm going through the devastating emtional,mental B.S. & it sucks majorly. i can hardly eat, Sleep is erradic if i sleep at all, my physical health is unstable now & i'm a total wreck .
