If you are a cheater I'd like to know what made you cheat?

people cheat..because first of all there spouse lets them if they know about it..a person will only do what you let them do..and if there spouse doesnt know about it...they do it because they are getting away with it..people do only what they know they can get away with..sounds correct? yes it does..people cheat because they are unhappy with something in the situation..you cheat because what you are finding in the streets is something you are not getting at home so you find it eleswhere..they dont get a divorce because maybe its easier to keep doing what there doing..divorce is time and effort and bring alot of things to the light..and maybe the headache is less if you just stay married...i am not a cheater but i can only speak from what i see and what i hear and the situations thats around...but i hope this made you understand better..good luck! hope i helped. i tend to question why people cheat but these seem to be the answers..if they are in the situation and unhappy my advice is to get out and be with something that makes you happy..they shouldnt have gotten married if they are unhappy and they shouldnt stay in the situation if they are unhappy also.

Not only can divorce be costly ,but nasty .And if you can find someone that knows your married and will allow visits ( normally very spoiled by cheater ).Someone told me ,I know he cheats, but to divorce me will cost him 1/2 his pension , the house ,and yes , I'd ask for alimony too.The other girl ain't going to get anything but him and penniless ! And she said this in front of her husband .Then on the other side of the fence per say " " A lady said he comes here with money to help me , leaves home to his wife and kids early enough that I can go out and find a guy .His wife does all the cooking , cleaning wash,I get dinners out and clubs , clothes ,ETC. Cheating is sometimes what the wife really wants to have husband " just go away but not his money" And the other has a rent husband .Fantasy , thrill of having a sneaky affair , want to get caught so wife will not forgive and go ! I use wife / husband as they have legal matters .Not that it's less painful by daters , but honestly marriage is cheating the other are singles that seek another companion . And with a girlfriend / boyfriend they are sill single and able to legally go out .and can charge the soon to be hurt faithful partner with many legal actions if not left alone , when they want out .

How are you doing? I have been doing some studying on that whole situation. For the most part people cheat because of something that is lacking in the relationship. So people go to another person to get that comfort. To cheat it does not have to be another person it could be something that the go to for comfort to escape the reality of life that they can not get. When someone cheats it is a eye opening experience. For one the person who is cheating has to look at themselves and also the person who was cheated on has to look at themselves. In a relationship there should be two important people and they are the two people that are in the relationship. They have to pay close attention to one another. I won't go into to much detail we may be here for a while so if you want to know more than just let me know and i will explain more.

i have cheated, and what made me do it was selfishness, unhappiness, immaturity, and i got married at 15 the first time(i'm on # 3)so i had no adolescence, and i only recently did enough soul searching to get to the bottom of my issues. Why not get a divorce, well, i have, twice, and it was because i cheated, and i felt they(the men) deserved better than that. I have messed up quite a bit, but i think the majority of people who cheat but have no intention of divorcing simply want to have their cake and eat it, too. I was never like that, but have known many who are. In those cases, it is greed.

a divorce would end the marriage but the relationship with the other person would become like a normal regular relationship... cheating is for some people exciting cuz the "cheater" is trying to be in two relationships at the same time...and trying to keep secret...

no I'm not a cheater but my step dad wus and I think the answer to the question Is becoues there trying to see if thay can get away with It and also to show the outher person that thay can find someone that looks better There's more to it than that but I'm afraid that thay are younger people on that will read this

Have you ever heard of the phrase it's cheaper to keep her, well, getting a divorce maybe to expensive, and it causes a lot of grief, going thru it, getting lawyers, paying alimony, who wants the headache, so people stay in thier marriage and just date other people, or sneak and see other people.

I think they want there cake and eat it too with some men and others don't know how to tell there spouse I am not happy and stray so they can force there spouse to leave them
