When I went to the register at Wal Mart and when the cashier rung the diapers up( i bought a big box with 104 in it) instead of just taking $11.00 of it she rung up the bigger pack for free. It was like $20.00. Do you think it is wrong for me to not go back to the store

I would call the store and tell the manager what happened. Odds are they will thank you for being honest and tell you to enjoy the free diapers.

PS, where did you get that coupon...I want one !

Nope. She should have read the coupon before she rang it up. Cashiers are trained to do this. I wouldn't feel guilty about it at all. About a year and a half ago, we were at K Mart and had a nice crock pot underneath the cart. When we got to the register, the lady didn't even check the bottom shelf of the cart (another thing they're trained to do). They even have mirrors on the other register next to the one we were at, so the cashier could look at the reflection to see if anything's hidden underneath. She didn't even do this. We didn't notice this until we got in the parking lot. We kept the Crock Pot.

I think you should go back in there and tell them what happened and just exchange the big box for the smaller one, but if you've already used some of the diapers just take your receipt and show them and just tell them you'll buy a big box and pay full price if they'll give you the smaller one for free like the coupon said.

Yes! I work at Wal-Mart. The register should have just taken $11.00 off when she scanned it....or if it didn't scan, she probably put the coupon in manually. Shame on you!!!!!!

Tough question - if it's the same day - you can go back but after that the store will have submitted their coupons and will take a loss for the difference.

Yes, it was wrong but these things have a tendency of coming back to you ten fold.
