Adults don't have anthing against teens, but some teens are sterotyped therefore, some adults will treat them a certain way without even knowing who they are. I went through the same thing as a teen. Ifelt that my parents should have treated me more like an adult, which they didn't. I was a senior and still couldn't go to a 9 oclock movie. But as a grew up, I realized that almost all teens feel that way and most of the time adults have our best interest. Trust me, be a teen as long as you can, because when you turn 24 like me and have to be an adult sometimes you will wish you were still a teen. At times I wish I was 18 again.

Not only are we trying to protect you from making mistakes and god knows when we were teens we thought our parents were assholes too but we have been there not to mention that there are wayyyyyy more freaks out there today because our justice system lets people like john couey back out after they have hurt one child already! As for the respect I am not saying all situations are the same but your parents may expect you to EARN THIER REPECT! I have seen how ALOT of Teens treat adults and including myself and if I EVER talked to my parents or other adults the way I have heard some of you talk I would not be able to sit down for a year!!!!You teens nowadays think you have it soooo bad! I had to be in @ dark every night and I was not allowed to go w/ guys in cares nor spend the night anywhere w/o having my parents calling constantly to make sure I was there! I had chores to do to earn money ,not just haveing given to me! I could not go to the mall w/friends or see a movie w/ friends I had to do homework first b4 going out so by the time I was done w/ chores & homework screw it no play time!!High school same thing!Kids have everything given to them too easily! They get cell phones new video games etc. And most of the time you don't have to work for it.. Just because your parents don't want you doing some things on your own does not exactly mean they think you can't do it ,it's possibly the fact that it is something you should not do on your own yet!

First, adults dont really have anything against nor are they out to get teenagers, after all we were there once and the adults of our age treated us pretty much the same. Teenagers, now and then, have always been viewed as arrogant, carefree, know it all, waste of human life, etc. Todays teens grow up without the fear of being drafted into the military once they turn 18 like we were so they have more leeway and tendencies to get into trouble, talk back, use drugs, drop out of school, etc. without the fear from their Uncle Sam. Parents no longer can send their out of control teens to the Army to make them grow up. So adults view your lives as easy compared to ours and are somewhat resentful of you guys are turning out like. Just remember the teens of today are the adults of tomorrow, if someday you get asked the same question.

You really dont want to know the answer...
As a general rule of thumb (generalization here)
Because teenagers have the bodies and the capabilities of adults but the mindset of toddlers (mine , mine , mine! I want it NOW!) and no real forthought as to the consequences of their actions.
And a parent knows their teen better than anyone else.
Best wishes!

maximum adults are prejudiced against childrens because of the fact they undergo in ideas all the "undesirable" issues that they have been given as much as at that age and that they understand that lots of the adolescents presently are doing an analogous or worse. As for you no longer desirous to enhance up, i'm afraid that it extremely is unavoidable. it extremely is a merciless worldwide accessible and the quicker you prepare your self for it the extra useful. you are able to no longer stay the existence of a baby perpetually, it extremely is no longer wholesome, and you will possibly be able to desire to take accountability for your self.

Maybe adults are just jealous that teens have their whole lives ahead of them.
