Can that be considered a clear connection between the supposedly "peaceful" religion and the unmitigated atrocities commited by these groups?

"Manny" just gave the most incomprehensible answer I've ever had posted on this site... WHAT ARE you talking about? Can you maybe edit your ramble down to a few concise lines with some semblance of a cohesive thought? Please?

Part of the beliefs of the Islam religion is martydom, which is misinterpreted by oh so many sects, especially those f'ing terrorists.

Other religions and even non-believers do not necessarily believe that killing and suicide is richeous -- they're just in it for revenge, love of violence, hate of a people, or whatever.

That's why so many Islamics are proud to hoist Islam up high, proudly displaying an excuse for their craziness.

Or maybe it just means that there is conflict in the Arab world, and that most Arabs are Muslim.

If there was a war in the Vatican, wouldn't most revolutionary groups have "Jesus" in the name? Or at the very least, wouldn't they be based around the idea of a Holy War for Christianity?

I think so. Stop being a bigot. Read a book about Islam before condemning it. Otherwise, you'll only be ignorant.

How many terrorist groups do you know, young man? if you deny knowledge it presents it self as different and unforgiven. Have some respect for others´ life. The disrespect shown to countrymen is appaling and mistrusting. If people do attempt not learn and avoid focus, everything is learnable with work and effort. Many do deserve not labels and restrictions. Just because one does not agree on foreigners it does not mean one is alerted or confused. Are you to declare religion is a major issue here. It is not. Many do as they wish, their actions are known to them, not far witnesses. Now, about atrocities, are you to qualify respect for ecology? be weary young american, U dont know me either.

Because 99.9% of terrorists are Muslim. They perfected terrorism and use it on a daily basis. People can say whatever they want, talk is cheap, but Islam is the most violent religion known to Man. It preaches an "us against them" philosophy, labels all non-Muslims as infidels, and the Koran contains many, many sections that can easily be interpreted as inviting Muslims to kill all non-Muslims.

hmmm... it's probably similar to why so many of the people who really can't drive have fish on their cars.

religion keeps you focused on stuff no one else can see. there are no "peaceful" religions because some of us are spectacularly nuts but somehow manage to exist long enough to involve scriptures and deities in their madness. christianity had its major turn with the crusades and the inquisition, but every now and then someone still perverts it too.

Yes, it is a clear connection - they don't want the Buddhists or the Hindus claiming any of their body counts.
