Usually the only side effects is your period is messed up trying to get back on track. Depending on how long you was on the pill it could take a year before it is out of your system. Also stuff the pill took care of such as menstral cramps, heavy bleeding, longer periods will come back around. Other then that you shouldnt noticed anything unhealthy going on.

i have never heard of side affects stopping the pill,just when you are on it you get them
