This puzzels me, Why do women pluck their eye brows & then paint them back on with a pencil?

Because sometimes the brow area is to close together, or to far down the brow area. So women pluck those hairs out. And use a pencil to get the look they want. Some guys do it to.

Women pluck thier eyebrows to give them shape
and get rid of stray hairs. However most women
go WAY overboard with it and do it wrong. They
often pluck too thin and in the wrong places.

Also EVERY good makup artist knows, you powder
your eyebrows NOT draw with pencil. I use
eyeshadow, that is what i was taught and it
look SO MUCH BETTER! And it looks natural
half the time you cant tell with powder.

With pencil you can ALWAYS tell and it looks
fake and greasy. Women need to go to
their local Nordstrom and be taught how
to do their eyebrows. When it comes
to shaping and emphasizing them
Less is More.

At the goths, painting them back is an art. So you can give them the shape you want. In the society, only old women strip their eyebrows and then paint them back with an eye pencil.

I get mine shaped and waxed and then, because my eyebrow hair is blond, get them and my eyelashed dyed brown. It makes a real difference to the look of the eye area in general. Much nicer. I hate it when a woman shaves her entire brow and then paints them on in the middle of the forehead. That's just tacky!

Shallow...yeah, but we're brainwashed by society that we have to look a certain way, so I just go with it. Plus it makes me feel better when I do things for myself, along with all the things I do for others.

I have my eyebrows threaded, to thin them out abit and to shape them, in between going to have them done I will pluck any noticable new growths.

Personally I don't see the point of removing eyebrows just to paint them back on again, but I suppose it does allow you to have different shaped eyebrows whenever you want :|

well u want to shape them when plucking...and not everybody the pencils in....i have nice full eyebrows so i just pluck them and dont shade them in cause there is no need to....but my sister plucks them then shades them in alittle because her eyebrows are not really that full

well I don't really know the answer to your question. I pluk my eye brows because they are too thick and I don't really like thick eye brows on me but I don't paint htem back on because I don't need to do that. in my oppion I think it looks funny when girls do that

this is a nice question :))) maybe they exagerated on plucking an have to little eyebrows left :))) and until they grow back they try to hide it with the pencil :P

i dont pluck my eyebrows i get dem done wit a eyebrow shaver or do it myself. but i always wanted to know the same thang too. i'll neva color my eyebrows when i got sum. alot of women do it cuz when dey plucked thier eyebrows..dey plucked too much of it n now dey dont have any. so dats theri last option to draw sum on! lol!!
