I'm having sex and my mom ask me if I had and I told her no. I went to the doctor and she asked me so asked my mom to leave the room while I talked to the doctor. Now she keep asking me if I'm having sex and is that what I told the doctor. How do I tell my mom that I have sex?

I don't know how old you are, but unless you have birth control and condoms handy, you might be better off talking with your mom, if only for help in obtaining the above mentioned items.

She'll figure it out eventually, but coming clean and asking for her advise and support could go a long way for the future.

Good luck!

Sweetie, It's best to tell your mother. If she keeps asking then she already feels that you are, she is just waiting to hear the words. Be honest with her. Yes, she might be upset, but it's better her knowing and accepting it than finding out later from someone else or the hard way. I don't know how old you are, but however old you are, you still should let her know. Then you will not have to hide it. You will feel relieved that you did. What I mean by the hard way? God forbid, but what if by any chance you end up pregnant or something else. Birth control, and condoms don't always work. Ease her mind of suspicion, tell her. She might be more understanding than you know. Then if you have questions or just need to talk, you can talk to her. If she finds out another way, she will be angry, hurt, and may even feel betrayed. I don't think you want her to feel that way. Sit down with her when you are alone and tell her. If you are to nervous to do that, get a card or write her a letter and leave it where you know only she will find it. She will have time to get her thoughts together, and she will come to you. GOOD LUCK!!!

I was just down that road and the best thing to do is get it off your chest. I know it's like but it's my mom but she's been in the exact same situation in her day too. It's your mom-she loves you no matter what. Mother's don't judge-they might say some stuff that might hurt your feelings but in the end they'll always love you. I think it's easiest to tell her things when you're alone, like having lunch or shopping or something. The main reason why she's probably asking is because she wants you to use protection or get birth control-it's a mom's job to look out for you. She's your mom, she's obviously been in the same postion. Just trust-you'll feel a whole lot better.

Assuming you're a young teen-ager, TELL YOU MOM NOW!
Yeah, some parents might get freaky about it and some might even go ballistic. But some might also be supportive and try to talk to you about the consequences. Sex is a beautiful thing...and it's worth waiting for the right person to share it with. Whether you think so or not, you're making an emotional investment that might not easily be returned. Your mom needs to know so that she can help you through this.

I hadd to go through the very same thing with my mom. Sit her down and try to be an adult with it. Tell your mom your having sex , you love the person your with and tell her the truth about what your using and hopefully she'll take you to the doctor to get some pills. Tell her not young anymore, you want to be treated older, and that you knoe the consquences and everything.

You don't have to, I was in the doctors alone too! And even the doctor told my mom that she put me on birth control to regulate my periods. I even put my 16 yr old sis on the pill, and my mom had no clue. There are ways around it so that your mom doesn't get mad or have to know. Just be responsible!

well, babe there is no easy way to tell your mom that your having sex. but I can tell you it is your choice if decide to tell her what I would suggest is to sit down with her and tell her to listen. If she gets mad it's ok 'cause moms and dads have a hard time realizing it was going to happen sooner or later because your growing up and it is your decision to do it...BUT I will say be ready for the fireworks because there going to go off... If you have anymore questions e-mail me at tm1990_softball@yahoo.com , I hope everything goes ok... love lots your friend tamara...........

Well if you cant find the words then don't you don't have to tell her everything but please make sure your having safe sex not just for prevention on pregnancy but from the fear of AIDS as a mother I rather hear your pregnant other than your dying from AIDS........

the only thing that would really blow your moms mind is your age, if you are 18 at least, there isn't much if anything she can do. she can say what she wants but she can't do anytihng about it.
If you are younger then you have a problem when she knows..
