Remember where the word "preppy" came from. It came from "college preparatory" schools, where people with some money and a demand for higher education went, so, if your among people who don't strive for that excellence in learning and income, "preppy" is looked down upon. But if you're with people who demand education and learning and wisdom, and a good income, "preppy" is it, even though you won't want to call it "preppy". Just do it, and you'll appreciate the difference. From an early retired "preppy" who's enjoying the very leisurely retired life, I hope you take the chance. Most people think preppy and sidity* have the same meaning, but it not. Preppy is a type of style and sidity* is just plain rude! So yeah, it's great if someone is preppy.
* i often put this symbol by words i cant spell, just on a personal note

before each and everything you sound quite shallow "i placed on it because each and each and every of the everyday females and adult males placed on it."And no that doesn't make you preppy those shops have quite wonderful issues i save there all time and im no longer a prep i purely placed on clothing from those places i do not pick to go including only one clique.
