True enemies are actually relatively rare. You have of course the Middle East, mostly Iran and Syria. In Asia you obviously have North Korea, though I personally also (and many others as well) consider China an enemy, though trade relations are currently good, and perhaps some trust can be built there.

Over on this side of the world, you have Cuba (everyone forgets about Cuba, poor Fidel) and the new upstart in I am drawing a blank is it Venezuela? You know who I am talking about.

Thats about it for actual enemies, there are a number of other countries that may not agree with us from time to time, but we are not enemies. All in all we have good relations with most other countries.

We also have a large number of true friends. Everyone of course knows Britain, but don't forget Australia who has been a very solid friend, Israel of course but the large group of mostly forgotten ex Soviet satellite countries, are almost all very pro US. Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Iraq and even Saudi Arabia are all strong allies of America.

We have more friends then enemies, and most are better then nuetral. Sure people complain and its human nature to take a shot from time to time at the guy on top (that would be us) but they also know deep down what this country has done for almost all of them. Be it saving them from the Germans, or bringing down the Soviet Empire so they could have freedom, or establishing Democracy, or providing the bulk of the aid for a major disaster or even by providing a huge customer source for their exports. Most of the world depends on us, and they would not want us to go away.

Aren't they all? Maybe not Canada and Britain, but for the most part everyone hates us. I just hope the world realizes they need to point the finger of blame at Bush and his administration and not at the American citizens.

Well we used to have allies like France that Bush has turned into enemies. (France told us it would be a mistake to invade Iraq. I guess we cant forgive them for being right.)

These days, Britain and Canada are our only sure allies.

The U.S. only has one true ally Canada.

Great Britian is not an ally, only the Labour Party.
