Nope! They will confiscate it when you land. Actually, you have a last chance to discard right before you go thru inspection. I think you have the potential to be fined if you try to bring in produce into Hawaii.

You can, but you have to pass it through the inspection desk. As you fly over they show a video of this lady eating an apple, and she takes it to the desk and they guy says its ok to take in and they go on their merry way. i think you just have to declare it... but there is an amnesty box if your bringing anything really bad or that you know your not allowed to bring in

Nope, you can't take it in or out. You can bring and take out packaged food though, I think.
