Im mexican so I like soccer, SInce i was 18y old im 22 right now. when i was 12 i use to watch american football and say soccer is borring but when i watch an event in 2002 i was like WOW i gota see this, yep 2002 korea/japan best event ive ever seen. maybe american sports dont want u to see this event? because americans might really enjoy it?

I believe LOTS of Americans watch soccer. Its the TV stations that do not want to promote it much and therefore downplay it coz they are pressured by NFL, NBA and MLB not to.
They do not want soccer cutting into their market share.
Simple. Its not about comercials. How can Spanish channels can show is 24 hours a day and still make a profit??

86% but out of those 86% only 2% love the sport the rest still do not see it as a sport for some reason..
This is my fifth time watching the world cup

Not sure, but I hope the nation embraces it and can finally realise that The World Series isn't actually a "World" event, unlike the World Cup, which is.
I really enjoyed the USA participation this year.

I'm sorry, not me...but then I had the advantage of living in England as a child. But my real "LOVE" for football didn't start until 2 years ago, when a then "boyfriend" reintroduced me to it! I'm a Manchester United fan, and plan on watching MY team play next year at Old Trafford. I'm flying my girls, my mom and myself there for a 2 week "road trip"! I can't wait! :)

i watched world soccer for the first time but i usually watch soccer here cuz i like the chivas lol their a mexico league team lol

Not me. I've liked it since I knew what football was and wc was. I've been watching WC since I was 8 and I'm glad I didn't miss on any of the ones I could watch. Now I'm16 and I've watched 3 WC's in my life and I love it. Especially now that I'm obsessed with it :)

ME! i loved it so much. i actually watched the last one 4 yrs ago, but the games were on from midnight to early morning so it was difficult to stay up. im kinda sad its in s. africa in 4 yrs cus the time is so different.
