Honey, I can already tell that you are looking for trouble. "Cheap" is Not what you want for your hair unless, of course, you are cheap and want to look that way.
Hair colorists are priced according to their location, sort of like real state. If you want a reputable colorist who will dazzle you with his skill, then you must go to a reputable salon at a reputable place, not a "cheap" place. Good stylists do not hang out at cheap salons since they want to be in the "in" crowd and not the "out" crowd. If you want trendy then you must go to where the trend is. Besides, those "cheap" salons always end up costing you more money and hardship since, chances are, you will have to go somewhere else to fix the mess that you got at the cheap places. So save your pennies, skip a few lattes and other junk food and pay the price for beauty. Comprende, mija?
Mr. M on cheap color.

Try an eye doctor or sometimes beauty supply store have them. I am not referring to the national beauty supplies such as Sally's but the local ones that sell hair for weaving and what have you.
