I doubt it will get at any of the market share from Apple's iPod. However, I think that it will dominate the Window's based music players. If it has flawless syncing with either WMP11 or another player with music store then it will do better. The wireless technology will show that Microsoft isn't trying to repackage the same old thing, but rather innovate. Even if the player is utterly flawless, it will not dominate the music player market. Apple has a huge hold on it and at most, it will dominate the other half of the market.

Too little - too late I'm afraid. The only thing that I like about it is the fact it'll have wireless headphones.

It will fail.
The I-Pod is engrained too deeply into the popular culture.
