It's a great line. Classic example of repeating a phrase throughout a movie to achieve the desired effect, especially with the little twists to it.
Keep an eye on the other Adam Sandler movies and watch for the various actors who appear in wildly different roles. It's great playing "Spot the Adam Sandler Actor Buddy", my wife and I love it.
Sure, the material and acting can be lame, but there is a certain amount of brilliance to creating such material and pulling it off. Takes a very smart man to play a "retard". Look at Dustin Hoffman in "Rain Man".
