they must be used to their own scent. i wonder what they think when they are around someone else with body oder. i worked in a place where my supervisor, also a good friend, had to tell some of the workers that they smelled offensive. he told me who they were, altho i kinda knew allready. what happened was, some cleaned up for a while, others used real strong good smell stuff which made it worse, and some did nothing. we worked in a hot environment which didnt help. the end result was they all went back to the way they were. my supervisor went thru all these stressful conversations for nothing. the problem persisted, he ended up quiting. i remember some of them wearing the same clothes for a week at a time. i dont know where im going with this except some people stink and theres nothing you can do about it.

Some folks may not be able to control their odors for reasons beyond their control. When my Grandmother was dying, there was an odor, but it was coming from a hole in her body the cancer had eaten away. I know some other people who can't help their odors because of their living arrangements.......Some of the folks I know have sulfur in their water and they smell like rotten eggs or pooh. Can they help it ? Try asking yourself what would you want someone to do or say if you had cancer eating away at your body ! And lots of folks already know they have a problem and don't need others to tell them. People need to try and be considerate of others feelings.... even if they smell a bit bad sometimes.

oh my God, there are different types of body odor --
1. a person who does not wear deodorant
2. a person who wears deodorant but does not shower daily
3. a person who does not wash his clothes so bacteria breeds in them -- my God, that's the grossest thing ever. there's this maintenance guy in my workplace (i know it sounds mean, it's ok -- he's a maniac anyway) who stinks. he smelled yesterday, and today i noticed that he's wearing the same thing and only the scent is stronger today -- ew! and when he comes inside the room and leaves, the odor stays -- i had to keep the door open for the smell to evaporate!
4. the disgusting smell of hair that has not be shampood for days.

Jeez how many people do you know that have bad body odor? They say that you can't smell body odor on yourself but it's not true. People who work outside in really hot weather and sweat alot and get dirty just become accustomed to the smell and don't notice it. If you were stinky wouldn't you want someone to tell you but in a nice way?

It signifies that your body is generating a organic musk (all adult males have it). once you sweat, the subaceous glands emit an oily substance, and the body's organic micro organism feed in this substance, alongside with useless epidermis cells, detached pubic hair, etc. no matter if it really is growing to be a difficulty, positioned a small dab of triple antibiotic ointment on your fingers, rub them at the same time till it receives warm, and then rubdown the ointment into your pubic area and onto your penis and scrotum. this may avert the micro organism from starting to be, and get rid of the musky scent. "body smell" is the byproduct of the micro organism because it "eats." In different words, the micro organism take a unload on your epidermis, and also you recognize that s*** stinks.

I learned in bio class that if you don't like the smell of someone else, then your genes or something are too similar, and that when u smell someone else that you think smells good, they are the opposite of you and that finding a mate that you think smells good , makes your offspring healthier. but i think body odour is a different story lol

Some don't realize that they smell. Others simply don't care. We are the ones that have to hold our breath and beg for them to get away from us.

Apparently they don't know it...I sometimes can't avoid it, because I teach school. Sometimes I will send a student to the counselor to have a talk about hygiene. But sometimes the children can't help it because their parents are absent (physically, emotionally, addicted etc) and the children wear the clothes they have dirty or otherwise. And they don't bathe.
