The punishments are too severe, and as a Tottenham Hotspur fan I know how gutted the fans of these clubs are feeling (we were once deducted 12 points, but our club chairman took the FA to court and had the points re-instated) . Something had to be done, but deducting points and relegating teams mainly punishes the loyal fans who have done nothing wrong. Instead, these clubs should have been given massive fines running into millions, and the any of these clubs board of directors who were involved in the match fixing should have received a life ban from being involved in football - this would have punished those responsible and not the poor guiltless fans. What do Juve fans have to look forward to - they will loose all their best players and find it impossible to get out of Serie B next season.

I like that AC Milan did not go down and am overjoyed that Juventus went down. I haven't heard much about Lazio and Fiorentina because they don't have as large international followings as Juventus, AC and Inter so I cannot comment on them.

I now believe that Juventus will sell many of their players. With many of them following Capello out to Real.

I think that if the intention was to decimate Italian Seria A, then the CAF trial was successful. By relegating these teams for the actions of club leadership, they will force the players to go abroad. A mass exodus of players in the Italian league to other teams abroad is what will happen. Congratulations to the morons who thought this one up!

No...Milan shouldn`t have got that 44 points penalty from last season and 15 points for next season..but at least Milan survives..and Juve should have gone to C2...

Disagree, it tears the heart out of the Italian league and fans. Punish the owners not the players and the fans.

I think that it is sad...yes the management is punished...but also the players and more importantly the fans are being punished also...they should fine the owners, and ban the officals ect. But to demote clubs...in Italy...that is horrible...rossoneri totto bene
