If you married a man after 4 weeks because he was the sexiest man you had ever had and then after 2 years you found that no only do you find him to be dumb, but you also can't find a dam thing to talk bout with him. He is a christian and although I tried to attend his church I have since decided it is nothing but a cult. Another man is now seemingly in love with me and I find him to be brilliant and we agree on almost everything. He is also not a christian and he is very articulate. The only problem is he isn't very sexy to me.
What would you do? What if I'm unhappy all my life with my hubby? Would it really be worth the rest of my life just to know that I would always be married? Or that when I was old and grey I wouldn't be alone?
What do you really think?

Sexy isn't everything.... it's a lot, but not everything. It seems to me that you know what you need to do. Don't cheat on your husband though... If you decide to leave him, this other guy will wait for you to resolve things... if he is truly worth it.

You have obviously made a compulsive decision when you married this man after only 4 weeks. You have to accept the consequences of your actions. However, living with a person you don't know what to say to must be torture and the only way to help yourself getting a happier life is to seperate...but whatever you do....don't get involved in a new partnership with someone just because he is articulate!!! My advise is, do not make compulsive decisions.

If they are not sexy but a good person you'll still want the sexy later. If you think your husband is dumb? Who gets married after 4 weeks? If you don't love your husband, it isn't fair to stay with him.. The fear of being alone when we get old and gray is a fear we all have. Good luck

i have been married for 16yr and have the what ifs and wish I had done before now.
so I would say if you are not happy with current husband, then time for divorce, and be happy. i think happiness is most important.
myself, and in this situation: time for a divorce.
wish I had the guts to get a divorce, but sooo scared too, and something breaks down.
did separate for 3 years but got back.but now wish I hadnt.

Sex is not everything in a long term marriage. If you plan to become old and grey together, sex will be out the door, so will the good looks. What you have left is love and respect for each other and good conversations.

We all make mistakes. You were certainly dumb for marrying someone you didn't know. Marriage and commitment should be taken more seriously than just....think I'll get married.
If you are not happy, move on. But. don't make the same mistake twice. Get to know someone. Fall in love with him and than decide what the future will be and make it happen. Not backwards ***!

sorry, but you never should have married someone after only knowing them for 4 weeks.
Do him and yourself a favor, get a divorce, take some time off, and then seek happiness for yourself. This will allow BOTH of you to find real love, not something based on the shallowness of sex appeal.

Find ways to for excitement with the sexy man. When you need brilliance read a book. You know your husband, try and accentuate the positive qualities if you can. Use him for alot of sex and wear youself out. It seems that you have a desire for his apperance

i think ur crazy first of all to marry a man only because hes sexy..and second of all i think you are crazy to marry a man you only knew 4weeks..they are some of the finest sexiest men in jail for rape and murder and many things..you didnt know anything about him and you decided to marry him..thats stupid..crazy..and all of the above.i dont mean to put you down..but im telling you what i think about the situation..you should looked deeper..you should reevaluate yourself..if all you look at men is just an object and looking only about sex appeal you need to look at yourself..im hoping you dont look like your avatar..because there is more for a person to offer then there looks you need to open your eyes and see theres more to a person then that...if you are unhappy its not worth it i dont care how beautiful or handsome or sexy he his..why be unhappy? i rather be with someone who is okay and makes me happy.then to be with someone fine as ever and im unhappy..you have your priorities and wants all backwards..whats meant to be is meant to be..so if you were married...look at it positive..been there done that...didnt work..didnt happen. move on..stop thinking about yourself and look at other people.you keep sayng i i i i i i i ....think about other people for once!

girl looks are not everything.take 4 example jay-z and beonce. beyonce wasn't worrying about how hov look. its whats counts in the inside. girl u made a huge mistake 4 rushing into this marriage and u have not changed b/c u meant another guy and u still judge him on the outside... what about the inside??? thats what matter in the end...
