OK..I don't realy understand...maybe I wrtoe the question wrong...Do i need to run 7mi a min to be within the 48sec?? 200 yards in 48 sec or less...

200(60/48) = 250 yards per minute
Now convert to miles.
There are 1760 yards in 1 mile
250/1760 = 25/176 = 0.142045 miles per minute
You need to run 0.142045 miles per minute.
It is not possible for a human to run 7 miles per minute.
The average speed limit (assuming it is 55 miles per hour)doesn't even allow cars to travel 1 mile per minute.

the calculation give by the nothers is right ... so you would need to run at 8.5227 miles per HOUR to equal the time .. therefore 9 miles per hour would better the time. This is not particularly fast; I can walk briskly at 3 mph.

(200yds/48 sec) * (1 mile)/(1760 yds) * (60 sec )/(1 min) =

0.142 miles / minute
