I have been having a jelly-like discharge. It doesn't have any smell, but it is gross to me, and during the time when I ovulate, it gets heavier. I am not pregnant, and I have no STDs. Could this be an infection of some kind? I have never had a yeast infection or anything like that, so I don't know if that could be it. I have been sexually active, but no STD. It just worries me because it is thick and jelly like, not thin and clear, which is what I used to have. Any suggestions?

It sounds like a kind of yeast infection. My wife had the same symptoms and thats what her gyne said. Talk to your gyne to be sure.

No I think that this is normal, it has happened to me before just a few times, I really think as long as it is odorless and is clear, it's nothing to worry about. Especially since you say it gets heavier during the time you ovulate. If it really bothers you, call the doctor, maybe there is a reason why it is thicker now (perhaps diet, etc...)

Hi i had discharge about 4 months proior to delivering my son and i had my son june 3rd 2005, i had discharge up until maybe april of this year. it stopped with a pill from the doctor he said it was normal

then i had discharge again white color no smell, and i went to doc he said it was a yeast infection.

maybe you have one? its not from being nasty down there or anything its very normal.

im sorry im not much help, but it sucks and the only thing you can prolly do is wear panty liners.

Ok, it sounds like an yeast infection. you can buy over the counter single treatment.
(it is not anything you have to really worry about ... just treat it and follow up with your doctor if it doesn't go away in about 3 days)

FYI:

Yeast infection (candida albicans) is "cottage cheese" discharge

Trichomas vaginalis is pale green and frothy, watery discharge

Gardnerella vaginalis is malodorous discharge

If it is clear and no smell it is perfectly normal discharg. it is your body's way of cleaning itself. during ovulation it does get heavier. Unless you start itching, has a color or smells then you are fine.

that discharge shows you are ovulating and is ready to get pregnant. or sometimes it is a sign of ovarian cancer the cells that are formed sometimes gives off that kind of discharge
