The LCD TV or Monitor will simply plug into your regular PC video port without a problem. You should be able to run your cable (for TV) into the LCD TV without any problem.

If you have shopped around, fine. But I recommend that you go to http://www.newegg.com and use the search tool to look for LCD TV. They have some very good prices. Read the reviews from customers.

A screen bult to primarily be for the PC is going to likely have a better sharpness and resolution on the PC than say an LCD TV that simply has computer inputs.
You need to decide what you priarily want.
Do you want a computer monitor that you can also watch TV on, or do you want a TV that you can also hook up to the computer.
In other words, the unit will work best under it's primary intended function than the aternate. To watch TV on a PC monitor, all you needadditionally is a TV tuner card. That is the option I went for as I am usually on the computer.

Go to www.tigerdirect.com and get an LCD monitor with a DVI output. They have 19" monitors for under $200 and they're a very reputable site. That is a digital connection found on most TVs, so you can hook up a DVD player to it, a satellite receiver, etc. and your computer if it has a video card with a DVI output. You'll probably need that since most computers don't come with it, but tigerdirect has them for about $35 and they're easy to install.
